This Privacy Policy explains how Swiss Street Workout collects and uses personal data when you visit our website, contact us or subscribe to our newsletter.
1. Who is responsible for your data?
Swiss Street Workout is responsible for the processing described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Data we collect
Depending on how you use our website, we may process the following data:
- Newsletter data: your email address, language preference and the technical information needed to record your subscription and confirmation.
- Contact data: the information you choose to send us when contacting us by email, including your name, email address and message.
- Technical data: information automatically transmitted by your browser or needed to operate and secure the website, such as IP address, date and time of access, requested pages, browser and device information.
- Anonymous audience data: aggregated website statistics described in section 5.
3. Why we use your data
We use personal data only when necessary for the following purposes:
- to operate, secure and improve our website;
- to respond to messages and requests sent to us;
- to manage and send our newsletter when you choose to subscribe;
- to keep a record of your newsletter consent; and
- to understand, in aggregate, how our website is used.
4. Newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email address to send news, information about our activities and events. We use a double opt-in process: your subscription is completed only after you confirm it through the email sent to you.
The newsletter is managed and sent through Brevo, which acts as our service provider. We keep newsletter data until you unsubscribe, unless a longer retention period is required to document consent or comply with legal obligations. You may unsubscribe at any time through the link included in every newsletter or by contacting us.
5. Analytics, cookies and similar technologies
We use Umami Cloud to understand aggregated website use, such as page views, referring pages, browser, operating system, device type and country. Umami is configured as a privacy-focused analytics service and does not use cookies or cross-site tracking for this website.
Our website uses session storage only to remember whether an introductory visual animation has already been shown during the current browser session. It is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
6. Service providers and international transfers
We use service providers to host and technically deliver our website, deliver newsletter emails, provide anonymous analytics and supply technical website resources. These providers may process technical data, including IP address, when your browser connects to their services. The providers currently used include Brevo, Umami Cloud and content delivery networks used to load website resources.
Some providers may process data outside Switzerland or the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, we rely on the safeguards required by applicable data-protection law, such as an adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards.
7. How long we keep data
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to meet legal obligations or to resolve disputes. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Communications are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and any related follow-up. Technical data is retained according to the retention settings of the relevant service provider and only for the period necessary for operation and security.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. You may also have a right to data portability.
To exercise your rights, contact us at contact@swissstreetworkout.ch. You may also contact the competent data-protection authority if you believe that your data has been processed unlawfully.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our website, services or legal obligations change. The current version will always be published on this page with its latest update date.
